Children enjoyed a great day
at Hardwick Park in Sedgefield on Saturday. |

There were lots of
attractions for the whole family including
Punch and Judy as well as Face Painting and
Balloon Twisting to enjoy. |

One of the highlights of the
day was a 6ft sculpture that was created
specially for the day, this was created by Sunsett
Balloons of Durham. This event was
arranged to celebrate Teddy Bear Week, with
a picnic and attractions for all the family. |

Hardwick Park Visitors
Centre is due to open in September. They are
having several events leading up to the
opening to
introduce the public to the centre and what
will be available. |

Members of staff commented
on how successful the day had been, and even
the 6ft bear sculpture had found a new home,
at the request of an amazed child, once the
event had come to a end. |
